Dogs and Politics

We drove home the other day,
after eating and laughing,
and in the middle of the road
there were two dogs,
one crossed to the other side,
the other sat there scratching its ass.

The other day,
our soldiers have died
for an uncertain cause,
have died in vain
for a nation we cannot save,
a nation who may not want to be saved,

meanwhile,
politicians have been
getting drunk off our tax dollars,
jacking off to child porn,
having affairs,
and scratching their asses.
